Molecular weight markers

Molecular weight markers from GE Healthcare determine molecular weight of uncharacterized protein samples by comparison with carefully selected standards.

Our wide selection of prestained and unstained molecular weight markers allows you to:
  • Choose between three staining options: manual, non-radioactive prestain, or radioactive prestain.
  • Perform electrophoresis under either native or denaturing conditions
  • Monitor the progress of your proteins throughout electrophoresis
  • Assess the transfer efficiency of your blotted proteins onto the membrane
  • Estimate the molecular weight of blotted proteins from 2.5 to 669 kDa
